At its annual show and sale in Scottsdale, in October 1995, Wayne Baize was inducted into the Cowboy Artists of America. A tribute long deserved, Wayne is to be congratulated for joining a group as high in prestige as the Cowboy Artists of America
Wayne has practiced his trade as an artist for more than 25 years and has been in print for most of that time. From his first print in 1974 until now, Wayne has had some 45 paintings put into limited edition prints and an untold number of posters and special editions for art shows.
"The Main Herd" was selected as the first print to carry Wayne's signature as a Cowboy Artist of America. Wayne believes it is one of the best ranch scenes he has done and says it received numerous compliments. We believe it is one of Wayne's finest works to date.
