He has had a one-man show at the Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas and other shows at galleries throughout the Southwest. His work has been featured in numerous magazines. "A Tough Winter" made the cover of "Quarter Horse Journal," and won the Western Writers of America Golden Spur Award for Best Western Cover Art.Wayne was elected a member of the Cowboy Artists of America in 1995.
